PhD Program
iBiMED is dedicated to attracting and training highly skilled PhD students. The Department of Medical Sciences offers 2 doctoral programmes: Doctorate in Biomedicine and Doctorate in Rehabilitation Sciences. These programs provide an intensive research-based education focused on the latest challenges in biology, biomedicine and rehabilitation sciences followed by an opportunity for students to develop their own original research projects. Our goal is to immerse students in a rich, multifaceted learning environment where they engage with complex biological concepts and tackle questions of significant societal impact.
iBiMED is a cornerstone for advancing innovative science, fostering an open and collaborative environment across disciplines. Students are encouraged to share their research with peers from different laboratories, actively participate in diverse seminar series, and attend talks and courses outside their primary area of study, promoting a well-rounded and integrative educational experience.
Masters Projects
iBiMED offer students an immersive experience in cutting-edge research within the biological and biomedical sciences. Students become integral members of our research teams, gaining hands-on experience and developing practical and analytical skills while working on their own research projects. This experience prepares them for the next stage in their careers or further academic pursuits, equipping them with the expertise and insights needed to excel in their future endeavors.
