iBiMED’s mission is to advance human health research by integrating molecular biology, genetics, genomic technologies, and population health studies. The Biomedicine Institute – iBiMED of the University of Aveiro was created in 2014 to implement a Health Sciences Program capable of improving people’s quality of life, well-being and health care, through biomedical and clinical research and advanced training.
