During the last years, she became an expert in cell and molecular biomedicine, and proteomics with a particular emphasis on protein phosphorylation. Her research focuses on the study of BRI2 protein biology and the molecular basis of neuropathologies, mainly neurodegeneration and Myotonic Dystrophy type 1 (DM1).
