SR is Principal Investigator at Institute of Biomedicine (iBiMED) where coordinates the Animal Facility, and the research group ‘Molecular basis of Neuropatologies’. SR is graduated in Biology by the University of Aveiro, she obtained the MSc degree in Molecular Microbiology and holds a PhD in Biochemistry (Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience area) from University of Aveiro/ Erlangen University. She participated in several national and international funded projects, in the role of PI, Co-PI, WP leader or team member. Currently she PI of an FCT project.
