Rogério Tavares Ribeiro holds a Degree in Biology (University of Lisbon) and a PhD in Human Physiology / Biomedicine (NOVA University, Lisbon). Has been a post-doc at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Pisa, Italy, at the NOVA Medical School, and at the research unit of the Portuguese Diabetes Association (APDP), with support from FCT. RR is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Sciences, University of Aveiro, and a researcher at the Institute for Biomedicine Research (iBiMED), and at APDP.
